NEST result 2020 delayed, score cards to be available today
NEST exam was conducted on September 29. The online application process for the NEST exam commenced on January 8 and closed on June 14. The admit cards were issued on September 2.

NEW DELHI: The result of the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) will be announced on October 13. As per the schedule announced earlier, the NEST 2020 result was to be declared on October 12, however, due to technical issues scorecard generation has been delayed. The NEST 2020 scorecards will now be available to download on October 13 after 7 pm.
Once released, candidates who appeared for the test can visit the official website of the NEST Exam — nestexam.in — to check and download the NEST result 2020.

Candidate should note that the final ranking of the candidates will be based on percentile scores calculated from the best three subject scores and the score in the general section. NISER and CEBS will be publishing separate merit lists.
The National Entrance Screening Test or NEST is a compulsory online/computer-based test for admission to the five-year Integrated MSc programme in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics, at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM–DAE CEBS), Mumbai.
It should be noted that getting a merit rank by satisfying SMAS and MAP criteria does not automatically entitle a candidate to a seat or to be called for admission/counselling. The details of the admission/counselling process will be uploaded on the website of the respective institutions sufficiently in advance.
