Kangana Ranaut on scrapping of Aarey Metro shed: 'First world problems of a few fancy activists are not #Mumbaikars problems'

After Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray announced the scrapping of the Aarey metro car shed, many celebrities, including Shraddha Kapoor and Dia Mirza hailed the move. Kangana Ranaut, however, did not agree with the CM's decision. The 'Queen' actress said that 'first world problems of a few fancy activists are not #Mumbaikars problems.' Furthermore, she also wrote that ‘stopping urbanisation only to suit the agendas of the rich and powerful is not the solution but part of the problem.' The project has now been shifted to Kanjurmarg, amid protests by concerned citizens and environmentalists over the felling of trees in Aarey Milk Colony.
