Heavy rain predicted in several districts of Odisha in next three days

Bhubaneswar, Oct 11(UNI) The well-marked low pressure area formed yesterday concentrated into a
depression over west central Bay of Bengal this morning.
It is likely to intensify further into a deep depression during next 24 hours and is very likely to move
west northwest wards and cross north Andhra Pradesh coast between Narsapur and Vishakhapatnam tomorrow night.
Under its impact squally weather with surface wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph gusting to 65 KMPH
is very likely to prevail along and off Odisha coast and west central Bay of Bengal and adjoining north
Bay of Bengal till October 13.
The local meteorology department that very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places over
the districts of Malkangiri, Rayagada, Koraput Gajapati and Ganjam till 8 hrs tomorrow and issued a
yellow warning for these districts.
The weather office also sounded orange warning for the districts of Malkangiri Rayagada Koraput
Gajapati and Ganjam and yellow warning for the districts of Nawarangpur, Kandhamal, Puri,
Nayagarha, Khordha , Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak and Cuttack for October 13 and predicted heavy rain at isolated places over these districts.
It also predicted heavy rain in the districts of Nawarangpur ,Nuapada,Malkangiri, Koraput Gajapati,
Rayagada and Ganjam on October 14 and issued yellow warning for these districts.
