Four deaths & 34 new cases of corona found in Hoshiarpur dist

Hoshiarpur, Oct 11 (UNI) As many as four more deaths and 34 new confirmed cases of coronavirus were reported in the district Sunday, taking the death toll to 184 and district tally to 5069 of which 424 are active cases, said a spokesperson of the local Health Department in a statement here Sunday evening.

Among those who died of COVID-19 were all elderly.
The Health Department Sunday received reports of 1176 samples of which seven persons of Hoshiarpur and 27 from other health centres of the district were reported coronavirus positive. Samples of 916 persons having symptoms of flu had been taken Sunday.
The total samples of suspected coronavirus patients taken by the health department in the district is 123828 of which 118162 were found negative till date. Reports of 1100 samples are still awaited. 127 samples were found invalid.
As many as 4461 patients had been cured and discharged.
