Donald Trump's physician on Saturday released a statement saying that the US President is no longer contagious. Trump was earlier detected with coronavirus.
Donald Trump's physician Sean Conley was quoted by AFP saying, "I am happy to report that in addition to the President meeting CDC criteria for the safe discontinuation of isolation, this morning's Covid PCR sample demonstrates, by currently recognized standards, he is no longer considered a transmission risk to others,".
According to Sean Conley, Trump had first started showing symptoms ten days ago and was hospitalised on October 2. Conley has also been accused of not being transparent with the public.
Conley further said, "Trump's viral load was decreasing and he is fever-free. The symptoms have improved." He did not state that the president was Covid-free.
Trump, who stayed in the hospital for three days before returning to the White House, has been pushing to jump back on the campaign trail.
