India to play big role in space research: Nasa awardee Dr Srikanth Panini

GUNTUR: Stating that Indian space scientists are going to play big role in unraveling the mysteries of space, young space scientist from Norway, Dr Singam Srikanth Panini has lauded the researches carried out by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). He said that Indian scientists were busy in making the world’s biggest telescope to take the studies to the next level. Srikanth, best young scientist awardee by NASA, is working in Norway space organization.
The Rotary International (Guntur) organized a virtual meet to mark the celebrations of World Space week on Sunday. Addressing the students and science lovers in the virtual conference from Norway, Dr Srikanth Panini said that Indian scientists have been role-model for many renowned scientists across the globe. He said that innovative and creative brains of Indian scientists have already made the country one of the biggest nations in space science in the world. He said that India is none to second in space researches as Isro had achieved unparalleled victories in the last 50 years.
“The very thinking of Indian scientists is way ahead of others and helped them script many success stories. The younger generations should take them as inspiration,” said Dr Srikanth.
He explained various aspects of space research, advancement in the latest studies in reaching Mars, black holes, light years during the two hour long session. He answered the queries of the students participated in the conference chaired by rotary club president Yalamanchili Venugopal. Former CBI Joint Director VV Lakshminarayana congratulated Dr Srikanth Panini on getting awarded by Nasa as the best and promising young researcher on space science. He said that Srikanth made the country proud by winning many international and national awards like Awsar and young researcher award. K Sridhar Babu, Vadlamani Rajya Lakshmi, SVS Lakshminarayana, Patibandla Sivaranjani, Saripudi Anil, P Srinivasa Rao, Sindhura Pabbisetty, Y Dharmini and students participated in the conference.
