Afghanistan reports 10 new COVID-19 cases

Kabul, Oct 10 (Xinhua) Afghanistan has registered 10 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number to 39,703, the country's Public Health Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
According to the statement, one patient died over the period, bringing the number of COVID-19-related deaths to 1,437.
Six patients recovered over the past 24 hours, pushing the number of recoveries to 33,064 in the country, the statement added.
