The three bills passed to protect the overall interests of the country’s farmers will give great strength and confidence to the farmers, said Rajya Sabha MP Vinay Tendulkar in a press conference held at Bicholim.

Tendulkar said that as per the instructions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to go to the state and provide information regarding the farmers’ bill and interact with the farmers, he has discussed with the farmers of Bicholim and Paryen on Saturday and also informed the journalists about the farm bills.

He said that the farmers will be able to enter into agreements with food processors to grow processable varieties and sell them at assured prices. Nor will they be restricted in to whom and where they sell their produce. They can also enter into agreements with farm service providers. He said that one should not pay attention to the opposition who is misleading the people of the state.

Tendulkar assured that the Central Government and all the people would stand firmly behind farmers and said that the bill would bring about a revolutionary change in the field of agriculture.

He further said that in Goa, the Congress workers have played a conspiracy to divert the attention of farmers, but the people know the truth and once again the BJP government will return to power in Goa with an absolute majority, he said.

President Vishwas Gavkar, general secretary Tulshidas Parab, Arun Naik Gurudatta Pal etc were present on the occasion.
