One killed in Srinagar road accident

Srinagar, Oct 10 (UNI) A 67-year-old man was killed after he was hit by a speedy vehicle at Nowgam in the outskirts of Srinagar city Saturday, official sources said.
They said Mohammad Muzamil, a resident of Jawahar Nagar was critically wounded when he was hit by a cab at Nowgam bypass Saturday. He was immediately rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Police have arrested the driver and seized the cab, they said, adding a case has been registered and investigation taken up.

Srinagar, Oct 10 (UNI) Four militants, including two belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) were killed by security forces in two separate encounters, which ensued during Cordon and Search Operations (CASO) in south Kashmir districts of Kulgam and Pulwama on Saturday, a police spokesman said.
