People infected with the Coronavirus voted in the Telangana Legislative Council by-election!

During the Legislative Council by-election in Telangana, the Nizamabad local body's Corona virus-infected public representatives voted on Friday wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) kits. In these by-elections, Chief Minister K.K. Chandrashekhar Rao's daughter and former MP K.K. Three candidates including Kavita are in the fray. Representatives of local bodies are voters in the by-election.


According to official sources, the total number of voters in these elections was 824, but one person has died. Sources said 821 people out of 823 voted while two others used postal ballots. He said 15 voters infected with the Coronavirus also exercised their franchise. The administration made special arrangements for the Corona virus-infected voters. They were provided with PPE kits. Also, an ambulance was arranged for them.

Some voters came to the polling booths in their vehicles. The counting of votes will take place on October 12. Significantly, TRS Legislative Councilor Bhupathi Reddy joined the Congress in the 2018 assembly elections, after which he was disqualified. Because of this, by-elections are needed.
