Ahead of the crucial bypolls, the Congress has stepped up attack on Jyotiraditya Scindia whose defection to the BJP cost it its state government in Madhya Pradesh. The bypolls are being held after Scindia supporters resigned their Assembly seats and joined the BJP. While the Congress has cast aspersions on Scindia's honesty citing his huge property, the BJP MP has hit back hard. Scindia said that while his property is 300 years old, questions about graft must be answered by those in the Congress who had newly become maharajas and had amassed huge wealth.
