Mutation files waiting to be cleared in HP

Shimla, Oct 9 (UNI) After passing over eight months, more than 500 mutation proceedings are pending under Rural Shimla as the Revenue officers are not going to field to conduct the process owing to the Covid pandemic.
Talking to UNI, Sohan Singh, a resident of Ghanati said that Tehsildar and Naib-Tehsildar are not conducting the mutation process since March this year amid the pandemic scare. Number of cases are pending for the final disposal due to deliberate delay being caused, he alleged.
Similar condition reported in other subdivisions of the state and people are keenly waiting for mutation of records and most of them are pending after demise of the people and many others are applied to conduct the mutation for the last one year.
He said that Patwari is showing their inability to announce the date of mutation as senior revenue officials are not coming in the fields for a long time. "We need the mutation process soon, however, the issue is pending with the officials," he said.
The people submitted mutation fees with the concerned authority and most of them are already passed by the senior revenue officers in various matters.

Workshop held on 'prevention of anemia by AYUSH' and balanced diet

Solan, Oct 9 (UNI) Under the second phase of the 'Prevention of Anemia by AYUSH' campaign by District Ayurveda Department Solan, anemia screening, nutrition and Covid-19 awareness camp organised in Dharampur block block Krishnagad, Surajpur, Ghadasi, Jangeshu and Hoodang of Dharampur block Friday .
District Ayurveda Officer Dr. Rajendra Sharma said 382 patients of anemia tested in the camps held in these gram panchayats. People were advised to take a balanced diet. Health check-ups were conducted in 100 villages of Gram Panchayat Krishnagarh, 86 in Surajpur, Gram Panchayat, 45 in Ghadasi, 42 in Gram Panchayat Jangeshu and 109 in Gram Panchayat Hoodang.
