Amitabh Bachchan is now part of Prabhas and Deepika Padukone's upcoming film, Prabhas 21. The yet-untitled film is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and directed by Nag Ashwin.

Vyjanthi Movies shared, "How can we try to make a legendary film without the legend Amitabh Bachchan,"  alongside a clip from his innumerable movies. Welcoming Big B on board, producers of the film Vyjyanthi Movies tweeted, "Welcoming with a full heart, the pride of a billion Indians. The Amitabh Bachchan. Our journey just got BIG-ger!"

Senior Bachchan shared the clip and wrote, "Humbled and filled with pride for the honour to be a part of this venture."

He also shared images, which could pass off as his teaser posters. The actor captioned them, "T 3685 - An honour and a privilege to be a part of this momentous & most ambitious venture .. and my greetings for the completion of 50 years for @VyjayanthiFilms.. may you celebrate another 50 .. and on !!"

About the inclusion of a doyen like Amitabh Bachchan, an elated Nag Ashwin said, "I feel lucky and blessed that Bachchan Sir has selected our film among the many choices he has. It is a full-length role, which we believe will do justice to the legend that he is."

While Prabhas 21 would mark Prabhas and Deepika Padukone's first collaboration, it is the second time that Deepika pairs up with Amitabh Bachchan after 'Piku'. Prabhas and Bachchan will also be sharing screen for the first time.

Prabhas 21 is said to be a futuristic sci-fi thriller set against the backdrop of an imaginary World War 3. To be shot in Telugu and dubbed into other regional (Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil) and international languages, the film is expected to go on floors in November.
