    Crude oil futures decline on low demand

    Synopsis

    Crude oil for November delivery was quoting lower by Rs 30, or 0.98 per cent, at Rs 3,035 per barrel with an open interest of 154 lots.

    Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading 0.41 per cent lower at USD 41.02 per barrel, while Brent crude was quoting 0.35 per cent lower at USD 43.19 per barrel in New York.
    New Delhi: Crude oil futures on Friday fell by 1.12 per cent to Rs 2,991 per barrel as participants reduced their positions on low demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for October delivery eased by Rs 34, or 1.12 per cent, to Rs 2,991 per barrel with a business volume of 3,230 lots.
