nCoV: 14 more dead in Nashik

Nashik, Oct 9 (UNI) As many as 14 patients succumbed to the COVID-19 while 796 new cases were detected here on Friday, surging the district's pandemic tally to 84,370, informed authorities.
With the new additions in fatality count, the cumulative death toll is teetering on the 1,500-mark, and presently stands at 1,494.
Of 19, the highest nine deaths were reported from Nashik interiors followed by the city areas (3) and district non-natives (2).
Meanwhile, 1,001 people were cured and discharged today, increasing the count of the recovered cases to 74,112, they added.
With the day's 405 new cases, Nashik city was trailed by rural areas (361), Malegaon city (16) and district non-natives (14).
Presently, there are more than 8,500 active cases under medical supervision, authorities apprised.
