The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) announces a new giveaway partnership with digital media company Matador Network to gift a trip of a lifetime to five deserving essential workers and a guest. This partnership is a continuation of TAT’s ongoing ‘Thailand Gives Back to Heroes’ project, striving to spread kindness to those who have risked their well-being on the frontlines of COVID-19.
Between October 1 – November 8, 2020, all eligible entrants can nominate themselves or another hero through TAT’s online nomination portal here. Submission requirements include a description of why the nominee deserves to win a trip to Thailand and how they have made a difference in the unforeseen challenges of 2020.
“We forever appreciate the selfless commitment of each of the United States’ frontline heroes. We know that you deserve this time to rejuvenate your mind and body as we continue to fight against these uncertain situations,” said Charinya Kiatlapnachai, Director, Tourism Authority of Thailand.
A highly sought-after wellness destination, the “Land of Smiles” provides mind and body rejuvenation through a rich tapestry of exotic architecture, culture, cuisines, traditions, and adventures. Thailand tops the list of the world’s safest destinations to visit during the COVID-19 pandemic according to a recent study and is at the forefront of country-wide enhanced travel protocols and hygienic standards.
The five winners will receive round-trip premium economy air transportation (where available) to Chiang Mai (1), Bangkok (2), or Phuket (2) to travel by September 30, 2021, for themselves and a guest. Sponsored boutique hotel accommodations with daily breakfast will be offered at three of Thailand’s leading hotels and resorts: either Raya Heritage in Chiang Mai, The Siam Hotel in Bangkok, or Amatara Wellness Resort in Phuket (approximate retail value of $10,400 USD).
The five winning heroes will be announced on December 18 through Matador Network’s social channels including Facebook, Instagram, and the giveaway landing page.
