UP: 9-yr-old raped in Farukhabad

Farukhabad, Oct 9 (UNI) A nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped in the city Kotwali area here, police sources said on Friday.
As per sources here, the victim was sleeping on a charpoy in a desolated house in Shyamnagar of the Kotwali area, when a youth living nearby came to the spot on Friday morning and allegedly raped her.
As the girl raised an alarm, her grand-mother sleeping nearby woke up and the accused youth ran from the spot.
Upon receiving information, police reached the spot and sent the girl for a medical check-up. Police are on a manhunt for the accused.
