Panaji: The Goa Public Service Commission will conduct the Computer Based Recruitment Test from October 9 to October 11 for filling 233 posts in the government sector; such a test being conducted for the first time during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Maintaining that the CBRT will be conducted by strictly following all the pandemic-related guidelines, GPSC chairman José Manuel Noronha told ‘The Navhind Times’ that a total of 233 posts had been advertised by the commission and almost 6,500 applications have been received for these vacancies. The CBRT is the first stage for direct recruitment to various positions by the GPSC.
“The test will be conducted by following all the standard operating procedures as prescribed by the authorities and over these three days around 1,700 candidates are expected to appear in batch sizes of around 15 per laboratory,” the GPSC chairman said, pointing out that all sanitisation procedures will be followed prior to and post this test, and adequate precautions including thermal scanning, mandatory use of Aarogya Setu app, etc will be enforced for all candidates at the examination centre.
