Indonesia reports 4,850 newly-confirmed COVID-19 cases, 108 more deaths

Jakarta, Oct 8 (Xinhua) COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 4,850 within one day to 320,564, with the death toll adding by 108 to 11,580, the health ministry said on Thursday.
According to the ministry, 3,769 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 244,060.
The virus has spread to all the country's 34 provinces.
Specifically, within the past 24 hours, Jakarta recorded 1,182 new cases, West Java 597, Central Java 348, East Java 347 and Riau 244.
