“If the swine flu had been as lethal as the coronavirus, in 2009, when Joe Biden was vice president, we would have lost 2 million American lives.” - Pence

Pence is right to say NATO is contributing more for its own defense – that’s been a big win.

Harris echoing Biden's message – the idea that America’s standing in the world has diminished under Trump, and that Biden wants to restore American leadership in the world.

Despite a rise in manufacturing jobs in the last couple of years, Trump has not been able to bring back millions of manufacturing jobs from overseas or restore entire industries to American shores as he has promised.

Last week, Biden won the endorsement of a key union in Western Pennsylvania, Operating Engineers, after assuring them he would not ban fracking.

Pence has been criticized for his record on science vs. conservative policy. He once said smoking doesn’t kill. Has consistently opposed cracking down on pollution.

On climate change, Mike Pence says “the climate is changing” but the issue is “what’s the cause.”

Pence – while making inaccurate statements – tries to cast himself at the one who is sticking to the facts.

“You are entitled to your own opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts,”says Mike Pence. This has been the administration of alternative facts.

Pence calls the Affordable Care Act “a disaster."

The American economy is a complete disaster, says Kamala Harris.

Pence mentions the Green New Deal – Biden, for his part, has been careful to say he does not endorse the Green New Deal.

Harris says Trump measures the strength of the economy based on how rich people are doing. Says on Day 1, Biden will repeal the 2017 tax cuts, which went disproportionately to wealthier Americans.

Fact Check: Trump suspended all travel from China, the second largest economy in the world. Biden opposed that position, he said it was xenophobic.-Pence. This is misleading.
