LJP releases list of 42 candidates for Bihar assembly election

Patna, Oct 08 (UNI) Lok Janshakti Party ( LJP) , a constituent unit of National Democratic Alliance (NDA), which was vociferously opposing Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his party Janata Dal

( U), another Alliance partner of NDA today released the list of 42 candidates for the first phase of the assembly election to be held on October 28 in the state.

According to the list released by the chief general secretary of LJP Abdul Khaliq the party has fielded Imam Ghazali from Sheikhpura, Akhilesh Kumar Singh from Dumra, Rakesh Kumar Singh alies Gabru Singh from Kargahar , Kumari Archana alias Baby Yadav from Belhar, Ravi Shankar Paswan from Secundera (reserved), Chandrashekhar Paswan from Chennai (reserved ), outgoing MLA of Bhartiya Janata Party Ravindra Yadav from Shakha, Mina Devi from Tarapur, Sarun Paswan from Kutumba (reserve), Madhukar Kumar from Barbigha, Dr Mrinal Shekhar from Amarpur, Sanjay Kumar Mandal from Chakai, Shweta Singh from Sandesh, Renuka Devi from Barachatti ,Ranjit Yadav alias Ranjit Prasad from Govindpur, Shashibhooshan Kunwar from Nawada, Suresh Nishad from Mokama, Ravi Shankar Prasad Singh alias Ashok Singh from Suryagarha, Parshuram Kumar from Masaurhi (reserved), Manoj Kumar Singh from Rafiganj, Dr Krishna Kabir from Nokha, Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha from Jagdishpur, Bhubaneswar Pathak from Kurtha, Ramashray Sharma alias Punya Dev Sharma from Belaganj Nirbhay Kumar Nirala from Rajapur (reserved), Arvind Kumar Singh from Atari, former vice president of BJP Rajendra Singh from Dinara ,Hulas Pandey from Brahmapur, former BJP vice president Dr Usha Vidyarthi from Paliganj, Deepak Kumar Paswan from Dhauria ( reserved ), Shobha from Imamganj (reserved), Mukesh Kumar Yadav from Sherghati , Durgesh Kumar Singh from Jamalpur, Kamlesh Sharma from Tikari, Rajeshwar Paswan from Agiyaon (reserved ), Rameshwar Chaurasia an assistant incharge of BJP in Uttar Pradesh and 4 time MLA of the party from Nokha , Indu Devi Kashyap from Jahanabad, Neelam Devi from Sultanganj ,Dr Prakash Chandra from Obra, Vijay Kumar Singh from Navi Nagar, Rakesh Kumar Singh from Ghosi and Rani Kumari from Makhdumpur (reserve).

Even though being a partner of NDA , LJP is contesting the election on its own following its difference with Janata Dal (U) and another Alliance partner of the NDA.

The BJP, however, had said that the alliance partner opposing leadership of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has no place in the NDA.
