
AP EAMCET Results 2020: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) declared the result for the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) on October 10. Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh announced the result through a press conference today. The result and rank list is available at sche.ap.gov.in.
Vavilapalli Sainath from Visakhapatnam has topped the exam and got rank 1. The rank 2 has been observed by Kumar Satyam from Ranga Reddy and Rank 3 is obtained by Gangula Bhuvan Reddy who also got AIR 2 in JEE Advanced 2020. In the agriculture category, the top rank was grabbed by Guthi Chaitanya Bindhu from Guntur. At rank 2 as well is secured by a female student from Guntur – Tripuraneni Lakshmi Sai Maruthi.

As many as 156953 had appeared for engineering stream, where as 75858 appeared for agriculture, and medical streams. Of these, 1,33,066 persons qualified in engineering, 69,616 persons qualified in Agriculture, Medical streams. The minister informed that 84.78 per cent applicants qualified in engineering, 91.77 per cent qualified in agriculture, and medical streams.
The exam was conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE.
AP EAMCET preliminary answer key was released and candidates were given chance to raise objections against the same till September 28. Now, the final answer key will be issued along with the result. Those who clear the exam will be eligible to take admissions in Andhra Pradesh based colleges in the stream they had appeared for the exam.

The qualifying percentage of marks for the AP EAMCET is 25 per cent of the maximum marks considered for the ranking. Students will be ranked based on their marks. Selected students will have to participate in the counselling sessions. The details of counselling will also be released along with the result.
