Man murders brother-in-law in Kolkata

Kolkata: A man murdered his brother-in-law over matrimonial dispute between the victim and the accused’s sister in Ekbalpore on Wednesday afternoon.
Cops said Imran alias Asif, a resident of Kabitirtha Sarani in Kidderpore, had walked into an Ekbalpore Road shop called NS and Sons owned by his brother-in-law Aftab Alam, 40, a resident of Bhukailash Road, around 3pm. “There was an argument and Imran stabbed Aftab multiple times,” an officer said.
“The victim was taken to Ekbalpore Nursing Home and then to CMRI, where he was declared ‘brought dead’,” said DC (Port) Syed Waquar Raza.
