Apple, Samsung and domestic players such as Lava Group are set to make India a major export hub for mobile device manufacturing, taking on the might of Vietnam and China which control 85 per cent of the global export market. Samsung, according to sources, has committed to manufacturing Rs 2.2 trillion worth of mobile devices which are priced above Rs 15,000.
