SRH put up 201/6. They were given a cracking start by Jonny Bairstow (97) and David Warner (52). KXIP’s bowling woes continued in the match, and it would be 36.4 overs since their last wicket that they would strike again — Ravi Bishnoi (3/29) picking up both the openers in the 16th over of the match. 6 wickets fell for 41 runs in the last 5 overs, as SRH collapsed after Bishnoi’s momentum-changing over. Nicholas Pooran (77) brought up a 17-ball 50 in the chase even as wickets fell around him, the fastest 50 of the season. Pooran kept holding one end up, until Rashid Khan (3/12) delivered the knockout blow in the 15th over. KXIP were all out for 132.

Bishnoi smashes four as Sandeep Sharma bowls the 16th. Sandeep retaliates with bouncers. One of which hits an apologetic looking Bishnoi. Cottrell blocks. Natarajan bowls Cottrell out with a yorker in the next over. Which brings out Number 11 Arshdeep Singh. Who is out for a duck. SRH win by 69 runs.
Shami fails to read the googly. Rashid Khan picks up 2 in 2 to finish his spell. A double wicket maiden from Rashid Khan hammers in the nail. Rashid finishes with 3/12. KXIP have Bishnoi and Cottrell in the middle, with 76 to get in 5 overs.
Rashid Khan goes through Pooran's gate but the ball misses the stumps too. Bishnoi joins Pooran at 8. With Rashid continuing, Pooran turns down singles. Abdul Samad promoted up the order to join the Bairstow carnage, but the script has turned somewhat dramatically in the last few balls.
