01/6DIY ways to dry your nail polish INSTANTLY!
A lot of people love putting nail paints but dislike the time they have to wait for the polish to dry completely. Many prefer manicures but then that treatment is expensive and can damage your nails if you get them done too often. How about we give you some DIY tips on how to dry your nail polish almost immediately?
02/6Dip your nails in ice
A few of you might know of this hack already. When you dip your nails in ice-cold water, the hack can help dry the nail polish faster. Make sure you dunk your nail beds in the water sufficiently for at least a minute to allow the nail polish to set in place.
03/6Blow drying
If you've been contemplating on buying the nail dryer machine, let us tell you that you don't need it. You can, in fact, dry your nail paint with the help of your hair dryer. Since the heat in the air keeps the nail polish from firming in place, the cool setting on your hair dryer will help do the opposite. Just a quick blast of frosty air can do the trick for you and set your nail paint in place quickly.
04/6Apply some oil
Just a pinch of baby oil or cooking spray is enough to come to your rescue. When you apply baby oil over the nail polish, the oil gets absorbed into the formula and works on thinning out the polish so that it can help it dry almost immediately. If you use a cooking spray, hold it at a distance from your nails and then wash your fingers with cold water once you're done.
05/6Reach out for hairspray
A quick spritz of hairspray on freshly coated nail paint can save a lot of time. You just need to make sure that the bottle is held at a distance of at least 30 centimeters as the force of the aerosol spray can ruin your paint job otherwise.
06/6Use essential oils
Lubrication can also extend to your favourite essential oils. Lavender, citronella or peppermint, whichever oil you use, fill it in a small bowl and dip your nails in it for 60 seconds. This will speed up the drying process. If you have an old nail paint bottle around, you can also apply the oil with a clean brush.
