Arjun Kapoor tests COVID-19 negative over the weekend; makes first public appearance post recovery

After nearly a month of testing positive for coronavirus, Arjun Kapoor is finally free from the virus. The actor took to his Instagram page and wrote a note that he was finally tested negative over the weekend. Moreover, on Tuesday, Arjun was seen making his first public appearance while making his way out a clinic in Mumbai. He was seen sporting a casual-cool look and covered himself with a mask.

Talking about his note, Arjun stated, "Hi! I'm happy to report that I have tested negative for coronavirus over the weekend. I'm feeling better after making a full recovery and excited to return to work. Thank you, everyone, for your good wishes and positivity. This virus is serious so I request every one to take it seriously. People should understand that coronavirus affects everyone - young and old. So, please WEAR a MASK at all times! Thank you BMC for your support and help and a huge salute to all the frontline workers who are risking everything to take care of us. We are forever indebted to you guys."

Arjun will also be donating his plasma so that he can help save the lives of people who are in critical need for it. 

Talking about his plasma donation, medical personnel in the know on conditions of anonymity stated, "Yes, this is true. Arjun will be donating his plasma on the 45th day since he tested positive. We welcome this move by him because such steps will empower and motivate others to step forward and donate plasma. Plasma therapy is crucial to saving lives and the more people come out and help the patients in serious need for plasma, the better."
