Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said that the government will start a campaign on Thursday to create awareness about the measures that people need to adopt to stop the spread of the coronavirus.


Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday about the decisions taken by the Union Cabinet, Javadekar said that until a vaccine is available, people will have to wear masks as part of efforts to stop the spread of the virus, distance from each other. Have to be maintained and hands have to be sanitized.

He said that following these three rules is a major defense against the virus. The government has been urging people to adopt these remedies for a long time to stop the spread of this virus. He said that posters, banners, and stickers would be installed in public places, metros, autorickshaws, and other public transport to spread the message about this.

He said that social media will also be used in this campaign. Javadekar said that precaution is more important as the winters are going to start soon.
