1304 new COVID 19 cases, tally reaches 191427 in Bihar

Patna, Oct 7 (UNI) With 1304 new COVID 19 cases coming to light, the tally of coronavirus

positive cases increased to 191427 so far in Bihar.

Health department sources said here today that of the new cases Patna reported with 263

followed by Madhepura with 60, Purnea 58, Muzaffarpur 57, Katihar 51, East Champar with

48, Gopalganj 47, Saharsa 41, Gaya 37, Rohtas 36, Supaul, Araria and Madhubani 35 each,

Begusarai 34, Bhagalpur and Nawada 32 each, West Champaran 31, Nalanda and Banka 30

each, Siwan and Jamui 28 each, Lakhisarai 26, Khagaria 25, Aurangabad and Saran 23 each,

Vaishali 21, Arwal 19, Samastipur 17, Jehanabad 16, Sheikhpura 14, Munger 12, Bhojpur and

Kaimur 11 each, Darbhanga and Kishanganj 10 each, Sheohar 9, Buxar 4 and Sitamarhi 3.

Apart from these cases samples of 2 persons belonging to other states were collected and

examined at various places in Bihar which were found to be covid-19 positive.
