BSEB 10th, 12th Board Exam date sheet 2020-21 released, check here

Bihar board class X exams will be held from February 17 to 24, 2021, whereas class XII board exams will be held from February 2 to 13, 2021.

PATNA: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on Wednesday released the dates for matriculation and intermediate examinations, which is to be held next year. The class X exams will be held from February 17 to 24, 2021, whereas class XII board exams will be held from February 2 to 13, 2021.
Making the announcement of the board exams, BSEB chairman Anand Kishor said both matric and intermediate exams will be held in two sittings- 9:30am to 12:45pm and 1:45pm to 5pm. A ‘cool off’ time of additional time of 15 minutes will be given to students in all examinations to read the question paper, he said.

“The practical examination, on the other hand, would be held between January 9 and January 18 next year for class XII at the home centres while students of Class X would take their practical exams for optional subjects, including home science, music, dance and fine arts from January 22 to 22,” the board chairman said.

Kishor said that the board has made few changes in subject pattern of classes XII, which is to be applied from this board exam.

As per the new subject pattern, if any student will fail in a compulsory subject in class XII then his/her additional subject marks will be considered instead of a compulsory subject. So that they can pass in aggregate.


On February 2, the class XII examinees of ISc will appear for physics paper while mathematics for ISC and IA examinees on February 3. As per the date sheet, Chemistry exam will be held on February 4, English (February 5), biology (February 6), Hindi (February 8), business studies (February 9), language paper (February 10), geography, political science, history and accountancy on February 11. Intermediate exam will end on February 13 with computer science and physical education exams.


The matric exam will begin with science paper in two shifts from February 17 which will be followed by mathematics on February 18, social science (February 19), English (February 20), MB (February 22), language paper (February 23) and additional paper (February 24).


Meanwhile, Kishor has asked the affiliated schools to accordingly conduct the sent- up exam of students of inter and matric between October 14 and November 5. “The results of the examinees would have to be submitted by the schools at district education offices by November 12,” he added.
