On the AIIMS report in the case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has said that the whole country can see that the truth has been revealed in the Sushant case. The BJP politicized the issue because of the Bihar elections. He said a conspiracy was hatched to defame the Maharashtra government in the name of Sushant case.
Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said, according to the AIIMS report Sushant Singh Rajput had committed suicide. This proves that the investigation conducted by Mumbai Police was correct. He said that the truth has now been revealed in Sushant case.
Deshmukh said, a conspiracy was hatched to defame Maharashtra in the name of Sushant. Apart from this, the Mumbai Police was also targeted for defaming. The lie was spread about the Mumbai Police investigation report. Everyone knows who was behind this.
Maharashtra Home Minister said, BJP is behind spreading lies on Sushant case. The BJP did little politics on this issue. He said that Sushant case was politicized regarding Bihar assembly elections. This issue was only thrown up by the BJP so that they could benefit in the elections.
Deshmukh took on Devendra Fadnavis, the former chief minister of the state and BJP's Bihar election in-charge, saying, "I want to ask Devendra Fadnavis if he will campaign for Gupteshwar Pandey (former DGP of Bihar), a man who has brought Maharashtra into disrepute."
Earlier, Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh said, "We are not surprised at all by this (AIIMS report)". The same was said by the team at Cooper Hospital. All those who criticized our investigation without notice went to various channels and made comments. I challenge them to reveal what they know because the investigation was completely confidential. It all had vested interests and was an inspired campaign.
At the same time, Dr Sudhir Gupta, who headed the AIIMS panel, was accused of having links with the Shiv Sena. On which the party's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said, "This is the report of Dr. Sudhir Gupta, head of the AIIMS Forensic Medical Board." He has no political connection or any kind of relationship with the Shiv Sena.
Raut said, from the beginning, a conspiracy is being hatched to defame the Maharashtra government and Mumbai police in this case. If the CBI investigation is not being trusted now, we are speechless.
