Sensex surge! Stocks that gained 10% or more

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, settled in green on Tuesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

During the day, GSS Infotech ( 20.00 per cent) , Vaksons Automobiles ( 20.00 per cent) , GTPL Hathway ( 20.00 per cent) , Vivid Mercantile ( 19.90 per cent) , LKP Finance ( 19.61 per cent) , Dr. Lalchandani Labs ( 18.05 per cent) , Titaanium Ten Enterprises ( 16.17 per cent) , Thyrocare Technologies ( 14.81 per cent) , Shiva Global ( 14.35 per cent), Sutlej Textiles ( 13.58 per cent) and GIC Housing Finance (up 12.25 per cent) rallied over 10 per cent.

The 30-share Sensex closed 600.87 points up at 39574.57 on Tuesday, while the 50-share Nifty index settled 159.05 points up at 11662.4.

In the Nifty 50 index, 36 stocks ended the day in green, while 14 stocks settled the day in red.

Stocks such as Thyrocare Technologies, Advanced Enzyme Technologies, Laurus Labs, Tata Elxsi, Asian Paints, Berger Paints, Indiabulls Ventures, Mindtree, Max Financial Services and Dabur India hit their fresh 52-week high in today's trade.
