Indonesia reports 4,056 newly-confirmed COVID-19 cases, 121 more deaths

Jakarta, Oct 6 (Xinhua) COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 4,056 within one day to 311,176, with the death toll adding by 121 to 11,374, the health ministry said on Tuesday.
According to the ministry, 3,844 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 236,437.
The virus has spread to all the country's 34 provinces.
Specifically, within the past 24 hours, Jakarta recorded 1,107 new cases, West Java 508, Central Java 400, East Java 282 and East Kalimantan 200.
No more new positive cases were found in two provinces, namely Gorontalo and North Maluku.
