NEW DELHI: Around 8 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Tuesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were 21st Century Management Services, Archidply Decor, Karuturi Global, Novartis, IndiaShree Ram Proteins and Valiant Organics.

Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty closed 159.05 points up at 11,662.4, while the BSE Sensex ended 600.87 points up at 39,574.57. This was Nifty's highest daily close in last 139 sessions since February 26, 2020.

On the other hand, Thyrocare Technologies, Laurus Labs, Ruchi Soya Industries, Hathway Cable and Tata Elxsi stocks were among the stocks that hit their fresh 52-week highs today.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC, Tata Motors, Adani Ports SEZ, IndusInd Bank and M&M were among the top gainers on the NSE.

However, Britannia Industries, Coal India, Tata Steel, Hindalco Industries and Wipro were among the top losers.
