A massive Trump sign has been erected in Los Angeles just four weeks out from the Presidential election.
The installation - which mimicked the nearby Hollywood sign - appeared Tuesday morning in the hills above the 405 freeway, just south of the Getty Center.
The sign spelled out the President's surname in large white letters, each of which measured more than 12 feet tall.
The California Highway Patrol reported the installation as a 'traffic hazard' shortly after daybreak, and it has since been dismantled by crews.

According to KTLA, officials were worried the sign would cause an accident as motorists were slowing down to snap photos.
Additionally, authorities were concerned that the sign could start a fire as it was erected in an area surrounded by dry bush.

Back in 2016, just 21 percent of Los Angeles County residents voted for the commander-in-chief.
'The good news is that someone was climbing toward it, so I hope they're pulling it down or covering it with red paint or blood, because he got like 200,000 people killed,' one resident wrote around 8.30am.

However, others were left outraged when the sign was removed.
'Hordes of trash ,filth and debris left on public streets for months on end... but gotta get a massive crew to dismantle that TRUMP sign STAT. What a joke Los Angeles county is!!!' one railed.

The land upon which the sign was erected is privately owned.
However, as of Tuesday afternoon, it is unclear whether the landowners erected the sign or whether political activists trespassed onto the property to erect the sign for maximum exposure along the busy freeway.
