WCSO: Fake medical exams lead to sex charges

Wichita Falls Times Record News

Wichita County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a suspect in connection with alleged sexual assault involving medical "exams."

Benedict

According to the warrant for arrest:

In February, the Clay County Sheriff’s office asked Texas Rangers to assist in a sexual assault case involving Anthony Benedict.

According to the complaints, the victim went to Benedict's home in Clay County and was told she would be paid $100 to participate in a medical program. Benedict removed the victim’s clothing and then performed the “exam” by touching her breasts and genitals. He paid her $100.

The victim questioned Benedict about the legitimacy of the “program” and made a report to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

Benedict admitted to deputies the “medical program” did not exist and that he had a “kink” in which he used the fake program to view and touch the victims.

Another alleged victim told the Ranger that Benedict said she could make money by participating in training for medical students. She said Benedict came to her house in Wichita County and performed an “exam” which included touching her breast and was paid $50.

Benedict was arrested Tuesday and charged with Compelling Prostitution. His bond was set at $20,000 by a judge and he was released from the Wichita County Jail.
