Kuwait Cabinet Resigns, New Emir Praises PM, Ministers Efforts

The Prime Minister, at the onset of the meeting, had submitted his and the government's resignation to the Emir.

The Emir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, praised the efforts of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah and ministers in performing the ministerial tasks entrusted to them.

During a meeting with the Prime Minister at Bayan Palace on Tuesday, the Emir affirmed high confidence in the current government to continue carrying out its tasks and performing the constitutional duties and completing the preparation for the upcoming legislative elections.


His Highness also called on everyone to abide by the duties and responsibilities in line with the constitution and laws in order to achieve progress of Kuwait.

The Prime Minister, at the onset of the meeting, had submitted his and the government's resignation to the Emir.
