Bihar Assembly Election 2020: On Saturday, the seat-sharing between BJP and JDU was approved in Bihar assembly elections. Despite this, the two parties are unable to jointly announce seat sharing. Despite the agreement on seat sharing, the tussle between the two parties has still not been resolved. It is believed that BJP and JDU will make a formal announcement of seat sharing today.
Many seats have their own claims
According to JDU sources, there is no problem on the number of seats. It has been agreed three days ago that JDU 122 and BJP will contest 121 seats. The screw is stuck after marking the seats. The two parties contested separate elections in the last assembly elections.
In such a situation, there are many seats on which no one wants to give up their claim. Apart from this, JDU also wants to get the seats whose RJD MLAs have recently changed. The BJP is claiming its claim on these seats.
Silent sharing of election symbol
Some of such seats were also continuously hit on Monday, but the final decision could not be taken till the news was written. This is why JDU has given its election symbols to candidates in some of the first phase seats without making an official announcement, while the BJP has also informed its candidates on the phone from whom to fight. As the time for first phase nomination is passing, the uneasiness of both the parties is also increasing.
LJP-BJP government will be formed: Chirag
LJP national president Chirag Paswan attacked JDU once again in an open letter on Monday. He said that LJP and BJP government will be formed in the coming time. All LJP MLAs will work under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Chirag said that this is the defining moment. A single vote given to JDU candidates will force your children to flee tomorrow. Today it is the decision to take the right decision in the interest of the nation and Bihar. I will go between Bihar and Biharis to take a decision of interest. Chirag gave the slogan of Bihar First Bihari First. Chirag also expressed concern about his father's health in the letter.
On the other hand, the RJD-Congress is also in a tizzy
The RJD has also secretly handed over the election symbol to the candidates for their seats in the first phase. After the day-long RJD parliamentary board meeting on Monday, election symbols were distributed to 28 candidates till evening. In this, the sons and daughters of the 6 big leaders of the party have been made candidates.
In the RJD too, there is a continuing tussle with Congress over some seats. This is the reason why so far he too has not officially announced his candidates. The Congress has so far decided 46 seats. Among them are the current MLAs of the first phase and many candidates.
6 big leaders' sons and daughters get tickets in RJD
The RJD has allotted election symbols, Ramgarh to Sudhakar Singh, son of state president Jagdanand Singh, Rahul Tiwari, son of Shivanand Tiwari to Shahpur, Rishi Singh to son of former Union minister Kanti Singh from Obra and former Union minister Jayaprakash Yadav to Daughter Divya Prakash has been nominated from Tarapur and brother Vijay Prakash from Chakai.
However, RJD has not even formally announced the name of a single candidate. Dialogues are continuing between the RJD and the Congress on exchanges in some seats and are expected to be resolved through talks by Tuesday. Bharat Bind from BSP has also been nominated as a candidate from Bhabhua.
Day out in JDU, Education Minister's seat changed
JDU has cut the ticket of its Dumraon MLA Dadan Pehalwan. In the first phase, new candidates have been formed in seven seats. In the first phase, JDU will have candidates in 36 of the 71 seats. RJD MLA Jayawardhan Yadav and Congress MLA Sudarshan Kumar have been nominated. Most backward are given preference in distributing tickets.
VIP joins NDA
The VIP, who broke ties with the opposition grand alliance, joined the NDA on Monday. JDU will give five to seven seats to Ham with its quota and BJP will give three to five seats to VIP from its quota.
