Raj Cong MLA Kailash Chandra Trivedi dies after recovering from Covid

Gurugram, Oct 6 (UNI) Congress legislator from Rajasthan’s Sahara constituency, Kailash Chandra Trivedi, who was suffering from lung fibrosis after recovering from Covid-19, died at a private hospital here.

He was 65.

Trivedi was airlifted to Medanta hospital in Gurugram from Jaipur on Thursday due to post-Covid complications.

According to family sources, Trivedi's health was deteriorating even after tested negative for Coronavirus.

He died late last night at the hospital.

Condoling the death of the veteran Congress leader, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot tweeted, " Deeply saddened at the passing away of Sahara, Bhilwara MLA & Congress leader Kailash Trivedi ji. My heartfelt condolences to his family members & supporters. May they remain strong in this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace. #Rajasthan."

Trivedi won 2013 and 2018 elections, representing Sahara for three terms.
