The inauguration of development works worth more than Rs. 1371 crore in Rajasthan!

Urban Development and Autonomous Governance Minister of Rajasthan Shanti Dhariwal on Monday inaugurated development works worth more than Rs 1371 crore in the urban areas of Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota, and Bharatpur divisions.


Dhariwal inaugurated the foundation stone of 14 projects worth Rs 1223.3 crore and four projects worth Rs 148.28 crore in these four divisions in these four divisions through video conference from the Chief Minister's residence. These projects include water supply, sewerage, sewer construction, parks, STP, drainage, and other development works.

Dhariwal said, "Even in this odd situation of the coronavirus epidemic, our state is moving towards development with the foresight of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. New dimensions of development are being established in all the urban body areas of the state, which will directly benefit the common man and improve their standard of living.

The Urban Development Minister said that the Chief Minister had inaugurated the foundation stone of 47 development projects worth Rs 1,037 crore and 21 projects worth Rs 294 crore for Ajmer, Udaipur, and Jaipur divisions. He said that projects worth about Rs 1371.58 crore have been awarded to Somwar, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota, and Bharatpur divisions. He said that projects like Smart City Mission, Amrit Mission have been expedited in the state.

Dhariwal said that the Chief Minister recently started a mass movement against Corona on Gandhi Jayanti. Through this program, the common people are being made aware to apply masks while adopting "No Mask No Entry". He said that free distribution of masks is being done at various places. He said that under Indira Rasoi Yojana launched in the state, people are getting nutritious food at a subsidized rate.
