Murder charge against Tejaswi, a political conspiracy : Shivanand

Patna, Oct 05 (UNI) Former Minister and senior RJD leader Shivanand Tiwary today dubbed as political conspiracy the charges of murder of dalit (oppressed) leader Shakti Malik, levelled against leader of the opposition Tejaswi Prasad Yadav and demanded CBI inquiry into the case.
Mr Tiwary said that RJD had condemned the murder of dalit leader Shakti Malik in strongest possible terms and described the the filing of FIR against Tejaswi Prasad Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav as political conspiracy during ongoing Bihar Assembly Elections.
JD(U) leader Sanjay Singh had demanded CBI inquiry into the case and RJD felt it was an official statement of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, he said adding that the government should recommend CBI inquiry which would expose those involved in the case.
Mr Tiwary said Mr Kumar should ask all leaders of his party not to make any statement relating to the case till CBI investigation was over if the government ordered for the CBI probe.
Mr Kumar should take his request seriously that government ordered CBI probe into the case and ask all leaders of the party to keep silent on the issue till investigation was completed, he felt.
Former state secretary of SC, ST cell of RJD Shakti Malik was shot dead on Sunday and Purnea and an FIR was lodged at K' Hat police station naming Tejasvi, Tej Pratap and others as named accused.
