Yashaswini Singh bags gold in Online Shooting C'ship

New Delhi, Oct 5 (UNI) World no 4 shooter, Yashaswini Singh Deswal, has bagged gold in the 10m air pistol event in the 5th edition of the International Online Shooting Championship (IOSC).
The competition was organised by indianshooting.com. on Sunday.
Indian Olympic quota winner Yashaswini shot 241.7 earning her the title. The shooter shot the best qualification score of 577. She was winner of gold at last year’s ISSF World Cup in Rio de Janeiro.
In the finals, Yashaswini took an early lead after the first ten shots and then completely dominated it to claim her second back-to-back title. Earlier, she had won gold during the fourth edition of IOSC held in May.
Ahmed Nabil of Egypt settled at second spot while compatriot Yehya Shams claimed third position.
Shooters from fifteen countries participated in the two-day competition, a brainchild of former India shooter Shimon Sharif.
