If anybody thinks that the AIADMK will be divided and dismantled, disappointment will certainly be the result, he said this while talking to reporters at Kovilpatti, Thoothukudi district on Saturday night.

The stalwarts of the AIADMK, the late MG Ramachandran, who founded the party, and the late J Jayalalithaa — who were also formerly Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu, paved the way for the party to expand and flourish further and the party is following suit.

Further, he said both Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam learnt lessons from former Chief Ministers MGR and Jayalalithaa.

Taking a dig at DMK, he said the opposition party was confined to holding executive council meeting through video conference and adopted resolutions on their own.

Moreover, the Minister said his party would face elections as per strategies devised by the CM and the Deputy CM and achieve victory to revive Jayalalithaa’s rule. To a query, he ruled out the possibility of any meeting with MLAs any time soon.
