The contestants this season are Abhinav Shukla, Eijaz Khan, Rahul Vaidya, Pavitra Punia, Jasmin Bhasin, Nikki Tamboli, Shehzad Deol, Jaan Kumar Sanu, Rubina Dilaik, Nishant Singh Malkani and Sara Gurpal. Bigg Boss 14 also has ‘Toofani Seniors’ — Hina Khan, Sidharth Shukla and Gauahar Khan — who have promised to make the show more challenging for the contestants.
Already the season has delivered on what Bigg Boss is expected to – fights, resentment and a whole lot of drama.
During Bigg Boss 14’s virtual press launch, host Salman Khan revealed his reasons for resuming work with Bigg Boss 14. Expressing concern about the aftermath of the long lockdown that halted all production work in tinseltown, the actor shared that he felt he needed to start working so that others could also earn. “The biggest reason that I am doing Bigg Boss is because I wanted people to start earning again. A lot many people died of COVID and also hunger. Bigg Boss has a big unit and gives employment to a lot of people,” Salman shared.

Bigg Boss 14 will air Monday-Friday at 10.30 pm and Saturday-Sunday at 9 pm on Colors. It will be available before TV exclusively on Voot Select.

Eijaz Khan will not be able to control his anger in tonight's episode of Bigg Boss 14 upon seeing a pile of stacked utensils in the kitchen sink. He would be seen asking everyone to do their own cleaning.
During the Jewel Thief task, Sidharth will take a strong stand which will end up upsetting Gauahar and Eijaz Khan. While Sidharth will justify his actions as a part of a well-thought out strategy, Eijaz will blame him for ruining the task.
After the contestants wake up, Pavitra Punia will read out Bigg Boss' next task, where contestants have to impress the Seniors and win a jewel from them in turn. The ones who win the maximum number of ornaments will get saved from the nomination process.
In tonight's episode of the show, Bigg Boss will assign a task that will pit the Seniors against the freshers, thereby changing things dynamically in the house. What do you think is going to happen?
Abhinav Shukla, Eijaz Khan and Rahul Vaidya were seen discussing the confession room. Rahul and Eijaz stated that there is a room near the kitchen where contestants are rounded up if a big argument erupts.

Both Nikki and Jaan are spending some quality time chatting each other up. The two were seen sharing a light moment over Jaan's new spectacles. Later, Nikki also stated a trivia about Jaan which surprised the latter.

Trade analyst Rohitt Jaiswal tweeted, "Siddharth should stay inside home at least for a month. What a fab entertainer he is. Funny and sensible at the same time."
On being asked what side of Sara Gurpal will the audience get to see in Bigg Boss 14, the model-actor told indianexpress.com, "I will always fight for the right. I believe what’s wrong needs to be called out. I have faced a lot in my life. People always look down upon the modelling and entertainment industry. We receive such disgusting DMs, and friends, who you have grown up with, sometimes also talk rubbish about you. I have learnt it the hard way and now I do not get bothered about others’ opinions. You know who you are when you see the mirror, and that’s the only thing that matters."
In a video shared on the Bigg Boss Twitter handle, Eijaz Khan is seen confronting Sidharth Shukla during the nomination task assigned to the freshers. Eijaz claims that Shukla ruined the game for everyone.

In conversation with Nishant Singh Malkani, Sidharth Shukla opens up on his journey on Bigg Boss 13. He said, "Times were different and fast. We were very active and every day something or the other things were happening. We were friends and there were alliances." He added that in the present season, some people are very slow and some are not even bothered. "We knew the game was on, which was fun because you are on your toes," the actor said.
