Dubai, Oct 5 (UNI) Marcus Stoinis 53 off 26 (6 fours, 2 sixes) not out and fourth wicket 89 run stand between Stoinis and Pant helped DC 196/4 in 20 overs against RCB in the 19th match of the IPL 2020 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, here on Monday.

Others who chipped in were Dhawan 32, Pant 37, Shaw 42 taking DC to 196/4.

Dhawan and Shaw also contributed 68 run partnership for the first wicket.

Earlier, RCB won the toss and opted to bowl. DC openers Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan scored runs at a quick pace as duo put 68 runs on board for the first wicket.

Mohammed Siraj provided a breakthrough for RCB taking first wicket of Shaw caught behind by keeper de Villiers in 7th over. Shaw 42 off 23 (5 fours, 2 sixes).

Within a span of 2 over, DC lose their second wicket in form of Dhawan bowled in Udana's spell caught at long-on by Ali.

Dhawan 32 off 28 (3 fours). In the next over skipper Shreyas Iyer falls becomes victim of Ali when caught at deep midwicket by Padikkal. Iyer's innings end with 11 off 13 (1 four).

In the 15th over, Stoinis smashed Saini for 6,4,4 stealing 17 runs. But in the same over Stoinis is dropped by Chahal at long-on.

Mohammed Siraj picked his second wicket sending Pant to the pavilion in 18.2 over. Pant 37 off 25

(3 fours, 2 sixes).

Stoinis 53 off 26 and Shimron Hetmyer 11 off 7 remained not out
