Steady rise in cured COVID cases in Assam

Guwahati, Oct 5 (UNI) Even as the COVID 19 tally in the state continues to increase,
the number of recovered patients has also been rising steadily in Assam.
The number of recovered patients has increased to over 1.52 lakh with over 1600
cured patients discharged from different hospitals and COVID Care Centres in the
last 24 hours.
The overall COVID 19 tally has climbed to 1,86,200 with detection of 756 new cases
in the last 24 hours, with a positivity rate of over 5%.
The death toll has touched 760 as 11 more COVID 19 casualties were confirmed
today.
The active COVID 19 positive caseload in the state is over 33,000 currently.
