MP CM’s focus on justice for ryots

Bhopal, Oct 3 (UNI) Emphasising that the Madhya Pradesh dispensation will ensure crop insurance companies do unalloyed justice to peasants, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan averred on Saturday that the government shall vociferously raise the cases of those tillers who have either not received anything or have been disbursed less the amounts claimed and – if the need arises – the issue will be discussed with the Centre, it was officially learnt.
“Besides, monetary relief shall also be provided at the earliest to each flood victim. As this year’s monsoon was healthy, ryots can undertake early sowing. In such a situation, timely availability of adequate quantity of urea will be ensured. In fact, I met Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister DV Sadananda Gowda plus Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar in this regard,” the senior politician said while chairing a meeting at Mantralaya.

Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Commissioner (Agriculture Production) Kishore Kumar Singh and Principal Secy (Agriculture) Ajit Kesari were among those in attendance.
