Covid-19: Thane's count up just a notch over July in spite of increased testing

The tally of Covid cases in Thane district in September has barely breached the July mark even as the volume of testing done by each of the satellite cities has increased manifold. The majority of cities in Thane had witnessed a second season of lockdown in July while September saw easing of norms.
