Deprivation of human rights slur on democracy : Dhankhar

Kolkata, Oct 4 (UNI) The West Bengal Human Rights Commission (WBHRC) is on

ventilator and deprivation of human rights is a slur on democracy, alleged Governor

Jagdeep Dhankhar on Sunday.

Taking to his tweeter handle, Mr Dhankhar said, “WBHRC on ‘ventilator’ does not

augur well. Institutions cannot be allowed to be crippled.”

“Looking forward to interaction with Chairman WB Human Rights Commission

(WBHRC) @MamataOfficial,” he added.

“Deprivation of Human Rights is slur on democracy as these are its life line and

essence,” Mr Dhankhar added.
