Ex-Cong MLC Naseeb Pathan dies of Covid-19

Lucknow, Oct 4 (UNI) Former Congress MLC Naseeb Pathan died of COVID-19 at the Medanta Hospital in Gurugram on Sunday.

He was around 60 years.

Two-time MLC and native of Bijnore, Naseeb Pathan was said to be a close confidant of the Gandhi family.

On Saturday, he had made a video clip from his hospital bed on Rahul Gandhi’s and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s visit to Hathras. He was among one of the leaders from UP, who had demanded sacking of Gulam Nabi Azad, over the letter controversy.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his grief on the demise of the Congress leader.

UP Congress president Ajay Kumar Lallu, party leader Pramod Tiwari have condoled the death of the party leader.
